Palonot F1 is a groundbreaking fire retardant solution designed to meet the diverse needs of industrial applications. Our patented product offers robust fire protection for wood-based products while presenting a simpler and more sustainable alternative to conventional fire retardants. Despite its remarkable efficiency, it poses no threat to metallic structures nor does it compromise the mechanical properties of wood. It is completely devoid of Substances of Very High Concern and other indoor air pollutants. Product Properties
Palonot F1 achieves the highest Euroclass B-s1,d0 fire retardancy. Its exceptional properties include:
- Efficiency: Reduces treatment time and effort and is easy to use.
- Space-Saving: Requires less time and space for drying in the factory.
- Preservation: Preserves the natural beauty and aesthetic of wood products and provides biostatic protection. Our solution does not crystallize on wood surfaces.
Suitable application methods of Palonot F1 include surface treatment, immersion and pressure impregnation. Surface treatment is often enough, and in many cases treated products do not need to be dried before stacking.
Every commercial product treated with Palonot F1 meets Euroclass B requirements (EN 13501-1) with ease. Furthermore, these treated products comply with the EU fire-retardant durability standard (EN 16755:2017), achieving at least class DRF INT2. Even more impressively, Palonot F1 treated wood products maintain emission classes E1 and M1 for building materials, ensuring they meet high standards for indoor air quality.
